Karlštejn, a gothic castle, was founded in the 14th century by the most important Czech sovereign Charles IV. Originally it served as a fortress for the crown jewels and relics of saints, now it represents a survival of the Gothic culture in our country. (In case that in the castle itself is available the guide in some other language, the explanation is substituted by texts written in English).
TOUR – NIŽBOR 4h
The Czech Republic and glass – an inseparable couple. To see its production is like to penetrate to the heart of Bohemia. The glass factory in Nižbor, close to Prague, offers a demonstration of glass blowing and cutting, in local shops you can buy products at a discount. On the way back you can take a picture of the famous Karlštejn castle.
TOUR – KONOPIŠTĚ 4h
Konopiště, a hunting castle, was founded in the 13th century and became famous mainly as the residence of Francis Ferdinand d´Este, successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne assassinated in 1914 in Sarajevo. Inside the castle you can admire hundreds of trophies, tapestries, furniture and other things.
TOUR – TEREZÍN 5h
Terezín is the most famous concentration camp of former Czechoslovakia. It was built as a fortification in the 18th century and only in 1940 the Nazi converted it into a working camp and Jewish Ghetto. You will visit the Small Fortress (police prison), the Ghetto Museum and the Crematory.

TOUR – KARLOVY VARY 8h Karlovy Vary, a world famous spa town, was founded by the most important Czech sovereign Charles IV. Many well-known persons profited from the curative springs. Now it is up to you to prove the healthy water. After the guided visit of the town and after lunch you will have some free time.
